Scholarship Winner

The 2011 Earl Field Memorial EMS Scholarship was awarded to Cody Conway

The Bartlett Volunteer Fire Department recently presented Cody Conwayas the recipient of the 2011 Earl Fleld Memorial EMS Scholarship.

Earl Field founded Paramedic Services of Illinois in 1975.   PSI provides contract paramedics or paramedic/firefighters to various fire departments.  From the beginning, until Earl’s untimely passing he was always a consistent, strong and dedicated voice in the Fire Service and EMS community.  Earl had a profound influence across the Chicago area in the early years of paramedic services.  Earl and PSI set the standard of providing professional and compassionate emergency services to the public.  PSI has been a long time and consistent supporter of the Bartlett Volunteer Fire Department.   As a result of a generous contribution earlier this year the BVFD is proud to provide this $1000 scholarship in Earl’s memory.
