Scholarships

Deadline: Aug. 15, 2010

Eligibility:

Age 18 or older and accepted into an accredited EMT/paramedic training program. Grant (s) will be disbursed to the selected candidate(s) by the educational institution. Candidates in training programs being paid for by fire departments, fire protection districts, municipalities or local governments and private companies are not eligible.

Criteria for Applying:

Accepted into an accredited EMT/paramedic training program
Resident of the tri village area or the immediate surrounding area as determined by the scholarship committee
Two letters of recommendation
Completed application

Award Amount: Up to $1000 payable to the institution offering the training program.

Number of Scholarships: Up to four, but in total not exceeding $1000
