Membership in the Bartlett Volunteer Fire Department, Inc is open to anyone who has a desire to be active in community service and wishes to support the volunteer fire service at large. Regular Member Regular membership is open to anyone who is or has ever been a member of a fire department, rescue squad, or an emergency medical service district. Regular members pay $25.00 a year in dues and may serve on the Board of Directors. After five years as a regular member an individual may apply to be a life member. Regular members have a vote on all issues brought before the general membership except those issues reserved for decision by life members. Life Member Life membership is open to any regular member who has served as a regular member for more than five years. Life members who are active members may have their yearly dues waved and are the only members who may vote to dissolve the organization, sell organization property and vote to amend the organization by-laws regarding these areas. Associate Member Associate membership is open to anyone who has been an emergency dispatcher, radio operator, or a law enforcement officer. Associate members pay $50.00 a year in dues and one associate member is elected to serve as a delegate on the Board of Directors by the associate members. Business Member Business membership is open to any business owner, individual or group who wishes to support and or be active in the activates of the organization. Business members pay $100.00 a year in dues and one business member is elected to serve as a delegate on the Board of Directors by the business members. |
