2010 Annual Report

The Bartlett Volunteer Fire Department had a busy and successful 2010.   Continuing to build on our almost 60 year legacy the corporation was active and visible within the community.   We provided assistance both financially and through use of the Fire Barn to area residents, civic organizations and charitable organizations.  The Fire Barn was the venue for many private rentals over the year. The corporation ended the year making a profit and remains financially strong.

Some interesting 2010 statistics regarding the Fire Barn:

·            The Fire Barn was used 65% of all available Friday, Saturday & Sunday dates

There were 82 community or charitable (non-corporation) events where we donated or reduced  the hall fees. These 82 events would have rented for $24,000 at normal rental rates.

·         The lease for the front apparatus area was renewed and continues with Hanover Township.

Highlights of 2010 are as follows:

January

The annual Holiday Party was held at the Fire Barn.  The 2010 corporation service awards were:

A.C. Schick Award    - Mike Airdo

Bull Award                 -  Jason Helvey

Elmer Hecht Award    -  Bob Bucaro

Jimmy Jensen Award  - Darcy Schrader

We doubled the number attending the first dance!  We are looking forward to an even better Street Dance & Money Raffle in 2011.
